What we collect
This website itself collects nothing. It has no analytics, no advertising trackers, no cookies of our own, and no forms that submit to us. Our forms are Google Forms, and they open in a new tab — so you only share something with us when you choose to open one and fill it in.
What those forms ask for:
- Contact form — your name, email, organization, topic and message.
- Chapter application — your name, email, grade, school, city and state, the hospital you hope to serve, and your written answers about why you want to start a chapter and any leadership experience.
- Newsletter — your email address only.
We don't run advertising trackers, and we don't build a profile of you across sites. We don't use analytics.
Who else handles it
- Google Forms receives and stores form responses, which land in a spreadsheet in our Google account. You do not need a Google account to submit one, and we don't ask the form to record who you are beyond what you type into it.
- Google more broadly — our email is a Gmail account, so messages you send us are stored there. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google when a page loads.
- Vercel hosts this site and keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for a limited period.
What we don't collect — ever
Any information about a child receiving a kit. We don't know who receives them, we don't ask, and hospitals don't tell us. We also don't want medical information about anyone through our forms — please don't send it.
Why we hold it
- To reply to you.
- To assess and support a chapter application.
- To send occasional updates, if you asked for them.
That's the whole list. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own purposes.
If you're under 18
You're welcome to contact us and to apply for a chapter. We don't ask for anyone's date of birth or age, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13 — if you believe a child under 13 has sent us something, email us and we'll delete it.
How long we keep it
- General inquiries: deleted once the conversation is finished and no longer needed.
- Chapter applications: kept while your chapter is active, or up to a year for unsuccessful applications in case you reapply.
- Newsletter: until you unsubscribe, which every email will let you do.
Your choices
Email us and ask to see what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and we'll do it. You don't need to give a reason and it won't affect anything else. Contact us.
Donations
If you donate, that transaction is handled by an external payment platform under its own privacy policy — not by us. We never see or store your card details. Once our platform is live we'll name it here and link to its policy.
Changes
If we start using analytics or an email platform, we'll update this page and change the date at the top before we do, not afterwards.
